Upper GI

Since Shelby was born, she has had an awful time with reflux and spitting up. She was on Zantac at first but it didn't seem to help the spit up. The doctor then changed her to Prevacid and also changed her formula. Several nights/afternoons last week, she would just scream for long periods of time. Once for an entire hour straight. I thought I was going to lose my mind. I took her back to the doctor last week and he ordered an Upper GI which has been scheduled for tomorrow, March 28th. If you're not familiar with an Upper GI, you have to drink a Barium mixture and then they take x-rays of how your body handles swallowing, reflux, etc. Hopefully it will not show anything major and we can get this resolved soon. The doctor has also changed her back to the Zantac and so far has seemed to feel better. She still spits up pretty bad but hasn't been screaming, thank God!
